The cutting unit (1) has an upper cutter (3) with a back strip (5) edged with primary blades (6) and a lower cutter (4) with another back strip (8) edged with secondary blades (9). The upper cutter or the lower cutter is translationally driven in an oscillating manner. A resilient holder (11) is firmly connected with a profiled beam (2) by a detachable mounting screw (12) and is designed, such that the holder is prestressed firmly in mounted state by the mounting screw and a defined contact pressure force is transferred on the guide rails (15,16) and on the upper cutter or the lower cutter.
