<p>A sheet feeding device comprises: a middle plate (21b) as a sheet receiving member on which a sheet can be placed; a feed roller (22) as a feed rotary part for feeding a sheet placed on the middle plate (21b); and a separation roller (23) for separating a sheet from sheets placed on the middle plate (21b). In addition, a regulation member (60) is overlapped with the feed roller (22) and/or the separation roller (23) in the width direction perpendicular to the feed roller (22) and the sheet feed direction, and the regulation member (60) extends outward from the feed roller (22) in the width direction, so as to function as a regulation part for regulating the leading edges of sheets placed on the middle plate (21b). Since the leading edges of sheets placed on the middle plate (21b) are regulated by the regulation member (60), the sheets can be efficiently fed.</p> |
