<p>A routing method and device for a host in a multi-homing site are provided in the present invention, and the method includes: receiving transitional technical information transmitted by client premise equipment (CPE) (S101); associating the transitional technical information and an internet protocol (IP) address of the CPE, and recording the association information in a table entry (S102); routing according to the association information in the table entry (S103). With the invention, the association between the transitional technical information and the IP address of the CPE, i.e. correspondence between the CPE and the corresponding transitional technique, enables the host to clearly know the transitional technique adopted by the homing network of the CPE, so that the suitable CPE can be chosen during the routing, and thereby the optimum routing is ensured.</p> |
