<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight capable of suppressing unevenness of light emitting luminance, even if a light guide plate is curved. <P>SOLUTION: In the backlight provided with a light guide plate and a light source having a plurality of light emitting units arranged in a row opposed to a side surface of the light guide plate, the light emitting unit is extended in a row direction and has retractiveness and is formed integrally with an incident part of the light guide plate where light from the light source enters and the light source, and includes at least one guide part which reflects the light emitted from the light source and guides it to the side surface of the light guide plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
