<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control setting/changing of an audio signal process characteristic in a simple and intuitive manner according to user's operation on a two-dimensional display surface in which a parameter of audio signal is developed. <P>SOLUTION: In the signal process characteristic control system, audio signals sL and sR are analyzed to acquire two parameters, which are developed on a two-dimensional plane (screen) Pn to be displayed on a touch panel 12. When points pa and pb on the two-dimensional plane Pn are touched, a specified parameter region Ar having a predetermined shape is set on the plane Pn to correspond to operation points pa and pb, and a predetermined signal process is applied in a parameter range corresponding to the set region Ar. Then when touch operation points pa and pb are rotated (Ac1), a predetermined signal process characteristic is changed. When one or more operation points pc, pd, ... are moved by a user in the specified parameter region Ar (Ac2-Ac5), the movement operations Ac2-Ac5 are detected and a predetermined signal process characteristic is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
