<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust a light receiving balance in a radial direction even though a temperature change in environment in which an optical disk drive is used is large. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical disk drive 1 of the present invention, an objective lens 6 is subjected to shift movement in a radial direction, a light receiving balance in the radial direction is calculated, and the calibration of a shift amount of the objective lens 6 and the light receiving balance in the radial direction is performed. When a correction amount of the light receiving balance in the radial direction is calculated from an amount of a temperature change in an optical pickup part 5, a shift correction amount of the objective lens 6 in the radial direction is calculated from the correction amount of the light receiving balance in the radial direction on the basis of a calibration result. Then, the objective lens 6 is subjected to shift movement in the radial direction on the basis of the shift correction amount, and the light receiving balance in the radial direction is adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
