<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain occurrence of Moire. <P>SOLUTION: Sub pixels having filter regions for transmitting each of light of colors for displaying a stereoscopic image are arranged on a filter surface on which an image of a stereoscopic video display device is displayed. An image displayed on the sub pixels are sensed by an observer through a parallax barrier. In the stereoscopic video display device, in a viewing region on the filter surface viewed by one eye of the observer through the parallax barrier, numerical apertures of filter regions of respective colors are almost the same irrespective of the view point of the observer. Consequently luminance variation in the viewing region due to a change of view point of the observer is restrained so as to reduce the Moire.
