<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-component developing device, in which a developing roller using an epichlorohydrin-ethyleneoxide rubber is prevented from bleeding and no bleeding is induced even when a regulating blade is in contact with the roller at a high line pressure in a high temperature and high humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: The single-component developing device includes at least a toner conveying member and a regulating blade for regulating a layer thickness of the toner supplied to the surface of the conveying member. The regulating blade regulates a layer thickness of the toner at a line pressure of 40 N/m to 80 N/m. The toner conveying member comprises a conductive elastic layer and a surface layer, layered on an outer circumference of a conductive shaft. The conductive elastic layer contains an epichlorohydrin-based rubber. The surface layer comprises a thermally cured product derived from a polyfunctional isocyanate compound containing carbon black and has a film thickness of 15 to 40 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
