摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount used of a colorant of a base color which forms the base of a picture while an appearance of the picture after deformation is secured in decorative molding. <P>SOLUTION: For lattice points necessary to be formed with the picture among lattice points set to a medium, an area change rate &Delta;s of a quadrilateral is read as a degree of change in the corresponding quadrilateral at the lattice points (S220). A w value as an ink amount of white (w) before deformation which is obtained from a white layer compensation conversion LUT 66 is set to be a w value of the lattice point of a processing object by using the area change rate &Delta;s which has been read (S230). A white layer as the base of the picture is formed by using the set w value, whereby the white layer can be made substantially the same in thickness against deformation of the medium.
