摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to improve detection accuracy as well as durability and installation adjustability of a particle sensor used for detecting a fine particle amount in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A fine particle sensor 100 comprises: an ion generation section 50 which generates a positive ion PI by corona discharge; an exhaust gas charging section 40 to charge a fine particle contained in exhaust gas by the positive ion PI; and an ion trap section 30 to trap the positive ion which is not used for charging the fine particle. The fine particle sensor 100 also has: a first insulated conductor 121 to supply the ion generation section 50 with power for the corona discharge; an air supply pipe 123 to supply the ion generation section 50 with air which allows the generated positive ion PI to flow into the exhaust gas charging section 40 as well as the ion trap section 30; and a reinforcement member 123s around an outer periphery of the air supply pipe 123.
