<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to change a clock frequency dynamically according to a packet reception state without restarting a transfer module of packets storing a route table. <P>SOLUTION: A network node 10 accommodating a plurality of circuits 16 and transferring packets received from the accommodated circuits to one or more circuits comprises: a determination circuit 12 determining whether or not clock frequencies of transfer devices 14 and 15 dynamically change according to a packet reception state for each fixed time; and a clock control part 11 calculating a clock frequency to be newly used from the packet reception state upon the change of the clock frequency. An element required for synchronization of the transfer device is determined in a test region in which a test for determining the element is performed. After the determination, upon the change of the clock frequency of the transfer device, the element is applied to the transfer device after transition to a state where there is no task on a pipeline determining a transmission destination based on route information required for packet transfer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
