IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission device which is capable of omitting complicated operation in transmission to a user himself or herself, thereby markedly contributing to improvement in convenience and which is capable of preventing such a security hole as causes secret transmission of important image information.

SOLUTION: The image transmission device is provided with: reception means which receives input of user information; acquisition means which acquires destination information on the user himself/herself of the image processing device, the user being identified according to the user information received by the reception means; setting means which sets a transmission destination; and transmission means which transmits an image to the transmission destination set by the setting means. The setting means is capable of setting the destination information acquired by the acquisition means and destination information inputted by the user. When the setting means sets the destination information acquired by the acquisition means and the destination information inputted by the user, the transmission means transmits the image to a destination indicated by the destination information acquired by the acquisition means and a destination indicated by the destination information inputted by the user.
