PURPOSE: A transformable occlusion device is provided to be rapidly adapted to the pressure difference in a small pore of a perforator vessel. CONSTITUTION: A transformable occlusion device comprises a metal strut structure(12) with a size suitable for being inserted within the vessel of a patient, and a frangible material(14). The structure has a fixed porosity. The frangible material provides a substantial obstacle against the flow through the frangible material and is able to be ruptured or eroded.
