<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission which can reduce a loss caused by bearings, makes fabrication of disks easy and can be used in a wide range of applications at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the toroidal continuously variable transmission, a bearing ring 100 of a ball bearing 6 is formed on a small end face 3a of an inner disk 3. Moreover, at least a part of the bearing ring 100 overlaps a traction face 12 that is an interface between a power roller and the inner disk 3 in the axial direction. Furthermore, a position adjustment member 120 is inserted between support posts 8a, 8b and a bearing ring opposite to the disk 3 (the other side bearing ring of the ball bearing 6 opposite to the bearing ring 100 of the small end face 3a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
