GALLIUM ELECTROLYSIS COLLECTION METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for further shortening an electrolyzation time, related to the metal gallium electrolysis collection method by which metal gallium is obtained by electrolyzing a solution containing a gallium ion.

SOLUTION: In the gallium electrolysis collection method by which the metal gallium is obtained by electrodepositing gallium to a cathode by electrolyzing the solution containing the gallium ion as an electrolyte, the electrolyzation time can largely be shortened by performing the electrolyzation while controlling a temperature of the gallium-ion containing solution as the electrolyte to a temperature lower than a melting point (29.8°C) of the gallium by using a cooler or the like.
