<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress competition of processing. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device 1 comprises a plurality of first storage media 4a and 4b that store data redundantly; and a control device 3 that is connected to the first storage media 4a and 4b with a communication line and controls information writing to the first storage media 4a and 4b. The control device 3 includes: a format processing section 3a that performs format processing to each of the first storage media 4a and 4b; a detection section 3b that detects a failure generated in the first storage media 4a and 4b; a control section 3c that makes the format processing 3a stop the format processing according to the failure detection by the detection section 3b and gives an instruction to rebuild the data stored in the failure-causing first storage medium 4b in a second storage medium 4c other than the first storage media 4a and 4b; and a rebuilding processing section 3d that rebuilds the data stored in the first storage medium 4a in the second storage medium 4c according to the instruction by the control section 3c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
