<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine awarding an opening duration extension state of a Yakumono (accessory) only while special symbols are varied a predetermined number of times, which has unconventional game excitement while the privilege is awarded. <P>SOLUTION: When a game status has a winning probability oscillation state and time reduced state, and further jackpot determination results in a jackpot to decide a variation pattern, a variation table 1 is selected, battle presentation is executed, and a player's character wins. When the jackpot determination results in failure, and only when a special variation flag has a value of 1 (this variation is termination trigger of the opening duration extension state), variation table 2 is selected, the battle presentation is executed and the player's character loses. The presentation has too much of a gap in which, during the battle presentation executed in an opening duration extension state, when the player character wins, a jackpot is won; and when the player character loses, the privilege is lost.
