<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction of an occupant protection device at low cost and high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An occupant protection control device is configured to perform: a main activation determination based on acceleration values detected by a first acceleration sensor disposed in a peripheral part of a vehicle body and a second acceleration sensor disposed in a position closer to the center of the vehicle than the peripheral part; a first safing determination based on the acceleration value detected by the first acceleration sensor; a second safing determination based on the acceleration value detected by the second acceleration sensor; and directing execution of the activation of the occupant protection device when determined to execute the activation in all of the main activation determination, the first safing determination and the second safing determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
