<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress turbulence of intake air flowing along the bore wall face of a throttle body 1, to prevent occurrence of blowing noise near a purge port 16, and to reduce the pressure loss of the intake air flowing through a throttle bore 11. <P>SOLUTION: A groove side face 21 roughly orthogonally crossing the bore wall face of the throttle body 1 is provided upstream of a tilted groove 15, and a groove bottom face 22 tilted to be upward slope toward the bore wall face from the purge port 16 is provided downstream of the tilted groove 15, thus the occurrence of a flow toward the purge port 16 of the intake air flowing along the bore wall face of the throttle body 1 is suppressed, and by steplessly connecting the deep side of the tilted groove 15 to the bore wall face of the downstream of the intake air flow direction, or to the flow wall face of an intake manifold 2, the intake air can flow downstream (to the engine side) without causing turbulence of the intake air flowing along the bore wall face, and without causing stagnation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
