摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress luminous intensity unevenness of a light distribution pattern in a structure in which a bulb is inserted from a side direction of a reflector. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle headlight 1 includes a projection lens 2 having an optical axis Ax along the front and rear direction, a bulb 3 which is located at a position separated from the optical axis Ax downward in the rear part of the projection lens 2 and has a bulb axis Ax1 extending along nearly right and left direction, and a reflector 4 having a reflecting surface 41 which is arranged so as to cover the bulb 3 from the rear side and reflects light emitted from the bulb 3 frontward toward the projection lens 2, and a low-beam is formed in front of the vehicle. The reflecting surface 41 of the reflector 4 has an upper reflecting region R1 on the upper side of the optical axis Ax and a lower reflecting region R2 on the lower side of the optical axis Ax. The lower reflecting region R2 has a level difference at the boundary part with the upper reflecting region R1, and an intermediate pattern Pc by the refection light at the lower reflecting region R2 is formed so as to be overlapped partially on a high luminous intensity side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
