摘要 <p>A wheel suspension (1) for low weight vehicles is constructed as a sandwich panel. This wheel suspension (1) sandwich panel comprises a first and a second cover layer (2, 3) that extend in a distance to each other and that are made of an elastically deformable, load bearing material. A core layer (4) is located in-between the cover layers (2, 3) and essentially bridges the distance between the cover layers (2, 3). A first and a second undercoating (5, 6) are located in each case between one of the cover layers (2, 3) and the core layer (4) for attaching the cover layers (2, 3) to the core layer (4). The wheel suspension (1) for low weight vehicles is characterized in that the core layer (4) is made of a shear soft, visco-elastic foamed and therefore damping material. Also described and claimed is a chassis (14) that comprises at least one such wheel suspension (1) for low weight vehicles (21) that may be configured as a self-propelled vehicle, a man-propelled vehicle or a hanger.</p>
