PURPOSE: An antibody for diagnosing protein which shows expression level different between Bemisia tabaci B type and Q type and a method for diagnosing Bemisia tabaci biotype using the same are provided to easily and accurately diagnose Bemisia tabaci biotype. CONSTITUTION: A protein for diagnosing Bemisia tabaci biotype contains proteins or peptides with an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 or a part thereof. A composition for diagnosing Bemisia tabaci biotype contains the protein of sequence number 1 or an antibody which specifically recognizes the peptide as an active ingredient.
