PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination globe with superior light distribution characteristics at low cost.

SOLUTION: By carrying out blow molding making a height dimension of an intermediate article inner wall higher than that of a completed globe 6 with the use of a blow molding die having a wedge mechanism for compressing it through expansion of the intermediate article inner wall toward a peripheral direction, a step 63 is provided at an entrance of an insertion part of the globe to a heat sink, a thickness t2 of the insertion part to the heat sink made thinner than a thickness t1 of a light-beam passing part on its upper part.
