OPTICAL RECEIVING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission quality.

SOLUTION: The optical receiving apparatus comprises: a receiving part; a monitor part; and a control part. The receiving part includes a local oscillation light source, mixes a light signal with local oscillation light oscillated from the local oscillation light source to perform coherent reception. The monitor part monitors light signal frequency which is the frequency of the light signal. The control part obtains a frequency correction amount from light signal frequency and oscillation frequency of the local oscillation light source. The oscillation frequency is corrected based on the frequency correction amount and oscillation frequency settings are controlled to the local oscillation light source to decrease a frequency difference between the light signal frequency and the oscillation frequency.
