<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively enhance separation property of sheets and to suppress occurrence of jamming such as paper jam without introducing a new detecting member, even when sheets that easily bend and have low stiffness are used. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus carries out steps of: (S12) butting a sheet to a registration roller, followed by starting to measure time simultaneously on starting re-conveyance; (S13) terminating the measurement of time when a leading end of the sheet after transferring a toner image is detected by a sheet pass detection sensor; and (S16) determining that the sheet has a problem about separation property, if (No in S14) the measured time exceeds a predetermined time, and changing a reference control parameter with a control parameter for enhancing the separation property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
