<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement certain switching with a simple configuration of a clock system in a system or receiver performing uninterruptible switching from one processing system to another, in transmitting/receiving client signals by using a plurality of systems of transmission paths. <P>SOLUTION: An uninterruptible switching system having a transmitter and a receiver, a receiver comprises: identifier detection means for detecting an identifier included by a signal received individually by a plurality of means for receiving transmission signals of predetermined forms; delay absorption means for absorbing signal delay and calculating error correction information for each reception signal whose delay is absorbed, from the detection result; means for selecting either reception signal having no error, based the calculation result; and means for reproducing a client signal by using a result of demapping the selected signal to the reception signal of the predetermined form, based on a clock which is not synchronized with clocks included by individual received signals of the predetermined forms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
