<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational testing system capable of performing an operational test of a renewal computation device without stopping operation of a currently-used computation device and a data transfer method used therein. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an operational testing system comprises a relay device, a first router, and a second router. The relay device copies management data received from a management device so as to make two items of management data, replaces a source address and a destination address of the management data with dummy IP addresses which are different from each other, and transmits the management data to the first router and the second router. The first router transmits the management data to the currently-used computation device by replacing the source address and the destination address with the original IP addresses.
