<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type assist grip made of resin, which can be easily disposed in a seat back of a front side seat without being protruded to an external part of the seat back and by which a seat space can be widely secured in a direct rear side seat and a passenger can be easily seated on the rear side seat and can get off the rear side seat. <P>SOLUTION: The box type assist grip made of resin includes: a box type assist grip body 11 whose upper end 16 is opened in a slender opening 17; and a pair of stay guide holding seats 19 and 19 formed in shapes with steps protruding both end walls 15 and 15 of the box type assist grip body 11 to inner sides in a position properly sinking from the slender opening 17 of the box type assist grip body 11 and having stay guide holes 20 and 20 respectively in both protrusion steps 18 and 18.
