<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat allowing ready deflection of a shell, and exhibiting excellent cushioning performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicular seat 1 including the shell 20 attached to a seat frame 10, and a cushion material 30 supported by the shell 20, a plurality of slits 21, each having one or a plurality of bent part/parts bent in a certain direction and one or a plurality of bent part/parts bent in a direction opposite to the certain direction, is formed in the shell 20. In the configuration, the certain direction and the direction opposite to the certain direction are width-wise directions of the seat.
