PURPOSE: An in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device is provided to make positive and negative voltages different, which are applied to each sub pixel area, thereby preventing lowering of picture quality. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pixel electrodes(170) contact drain electrodes through drain contact holes on protection layers of first to third sub pixel areas respectively. The pixel electrodes are separated at a fixed interval. A plurality of common electrodes(172a~172c) contacts one of first to third common lines through one of first to third common contact holes on the protection layers. The common electrodes and the pixel electrodes are alternately formed. |
