<p>[Problem] To provide a seat belt device that can maintain its functions for a long period of time and prevent a tongue plate from reversing due to torsion of webbing when fastening a belt. [Solution] A seat belt device (100) is characterized by comprising: a retractor (120); a hard boot (170); a pivot mechanism (190); a return spring (198); and a support board (180). One end of webbing (110) extending vertically in the interior of a vehicle is fixed to a lower side of the interior of the vehicle, and the other end of the webbing (110) is wound around the retractor (120) to receive a tensional force. A predetermined length of the webbing from the fixed end thereof is accommodated in the boot (170). The pivot mechanism (190) supports the boot in a manner such that the boot can be pivoted on its lower end forward and backward in the vehicle. The return spring (198) pushes the boot forward and downward in the vehicle. The support board (180) is accommodated in an inner space (172) of the boot together with the webbing and has a length (L2) and a width (W2) that are similar to those of the inner space. The support board (180) is more rigid than the boot.</p> |
