The present invention relates to a technique for executing an Android application on a general-purpose operating system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a technique for executing an Android application as a plug-in for a Web browser or as a general PC application on a typical personal computer or a kiosk terminal device in which a general-purpose operating system is installed instead of the Google Android platform. According to the present invention, it is possible, through a simple procedure, to run an Android application on a typical personal computer or a kiosk terminal device on which a general-purpose operating system is installed. Moreover, a buyer of an Android application may use the latter in advance on a personal computer or a kiosk terminal device, and then determine whether or not to purchase the application such that a prudent purchasing decision can be made. As a result, the reliability of the open market for Android applications can be improved and thus the market for Android applications can be vitalized.
