<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel multiple-wavelength light-emitting element and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A multiple-wavelength light-emitting element 10 includes a first light-emitting region A1 and a second light-emitting region A2 that have different emission wavelengths. The first light-emitting region A1 includes a first semiconductor base layer 141 and a first semiconductor light-emitting layer 151 stacked on the first semiconductor base layer 141. The second light-emitting region A2 includes: a second semiconductor base layer 142, which is disposed above the first semiconductor base layer 141 and is formed from a semiconductor having the same constituent elements as the first semiconductor base layer 141 and having the different element composition ratio from the first semiconductor base layer 141; and a second semiconductor light-emitting layer 152 stacked on the second semiconductor base layer 142. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
