PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus that can adapt to unstable power supply.

SOLUTION: A washing machine 4a is for use in a power system in which power supplied from power supplies is consumed by loads. The washing machine 4a includes: a drive section 14 driven on supplied power; a supply/demand comparison section 32 for acquiring a result of comparison between a power supply value of supply from a photovoltaic power generation apparatus out of the power supplies and a power consumption value of consumption by the loads including the washing machine 4a; a drive determination section 35 for determining whether to drive the drive section 14 in accordance with the acquired result of comparison; and a drive control section 36 for controlling the drive section 14 to drive in accordance with a result of determination of the drive determination section 35.
