<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gesture recognition device, even when an electronic apparatus for executing control in response to a gesture is used to be mounted on some place, being unlikely to be subject to a restriction on a place where the gesture is performed, from a viewpoint of the imaging. <P>SOLUTION: A gesture recognition device 1 is placed on a breast of an operator 100 with a strap 2. The gesture recognition device 1 recognizes a gesture based on an image of a hand of the operator 100 obtained by imaging with an image sensor 7 incorporated therein.
