<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system and the like which allows respective users to perform respective editing work and also browse simultaneous and parallel editing contents by other users when performing the editing work of one electronic document. <P>SOLUTION: A document management device related to the invention includes: layer file generation means for generating an image file of an electronic document and a work file for each of a plurality of terminals when an editing start request is received from the plurality of terminals; display file generation means for generating a first display file by combining the image file of the electronic document and the work files for all the respective terminals; transmission means for transmitting the first display file; and work file updating means for updating the work file of the terminal of an updating request origin when updating data is received. The display file generation means generates a second display file by combining the image file of the electronic document and the work files for all the respective terminals including the updated work file, and the transmission means transmits the second display file to the plurality of terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
