<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aluminum nitride powder which is lightweight, and suitable as a filler having high thermal conductivity for improving heat releasability by being filled into a resin, grease, an adhesive, a paint or the like, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This aluminum nitride powder is constituted of aluminum nitride hollow particles having an average particle size of 5-100 μm, an oxygen concentration of ≤2 wt.% and crushing strength of ≥20 MPa. The aluminum nitride powder can be produced by reducing and nitriding alumina particles having an average particle size of 5-90 μm and a specific surface area of 0.01-3 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g by using calcium fluoride as a reduction aid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
