<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge treatment method, for solving the problem of a bright spot occurring on an optical film, that causes no bright spots on a resin film based on the findings that the bright spot is caused by an optical foreign object which is not larger than 50 μm in size and is imperceptible to the eye and that the optical foreign object is generated by adhesion to a process roll and subsequent transcription to the film surface of a derivative of a carboxylic acid such as oxalic acid or the like during a continuous discharge treatment for many hours. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge treatment method for a resin film comprises subjecting a front surface to a discharge treatment, immediately thereafter covering the treated surface with a protective film, then subjecting the back surface to a discharge treatment, and transferring the resin film with the treated surface in a non-contacted state to the following processes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
