<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite filter for a display for shielding an infrared ray and an electromagnetic wave, which effectively shields a near-infrared ray and an electromagnetic wave while suppressing decrease in transmittance of visible light. <P>SOLUTION: A composite filter 10 for a display includes, from an observer V side, a near-infrared reflection layer 1 which transmits visible light and reflects a near-infrared ray Ir and a near-infrared absorption layer 2 which transmits visible light and absorbs a near-infrared ray, and an electromagnetic wave shielding layer 3 is arranged between the near-infrared reflection layer and the near-infrared absorption layer and/or on the side farther from the near-infrared reflection layer than the near-infrared absorption layer with an air layer provided between the electromagnetic wave shielding layer and the near-infrared reflection layer. The electromagnetic wave shielding layer is composed of a transparent base material 4 and a conductive convex pattern layer 5, and the conductive convex pattern layer is composed of a conductive pattern layer 6 containing conductive particles and a binder resin, a metal layer 7 whose end corner part is protruded and whose center part is dented, and a blackened layer 8 from which metal needle-shaped bodies are protruded.
