<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral surface measuring device 1 for rolling members facilitating a measurement of waviness or the like of a high-frequency band even when a rolling surface 4A of a rolling member 4 is directly measured with a stylus 3, suppressing abrasion of a tip end 3A of the stylus 3 coming into contact with the rolling surface 4A of the rolling member 4, and being unlikely that a hard particle or the like sticks in the tip end 3A of the stylus 3 coming into contact with the rolling surface 4A of the rolling member 4. <P>SOLUTION: The peripheral surface measuring device 1 for rolling members according to the invention has the stylus whose tip end is adapted to come into direct contact with the rolling surface 4A of the rolling member 4 when measuring the peripheral surface. The tip end of the stylus is composed of diamond. Preferably, a contact surface 3A1 of the tip end 3A of the stylus 3 is formed into a plane or a projecting shape when coming into a point contact with the rolling surface of the rolling member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
