This display device comprises: an input unit which receives an operation instruction; a display unit which displays an image; a switch unit which switches a display direction of an image which the display unit displays; and an interrupt unit which, when the input unit receives the operation instruction relating to information upon the screen which the display unit is displaying, interrupts the switching of the display direction of the screen based on the switching unit.
