A method, device and system for acquiring signal quality information are provided, and the method for acquiring the signal quality information comprises the following steps: a User Equipment (UE) receives measurement task for reporting Cell Global Identity (CGI) of an unknown neighbor cell issued by eNodeB; the UE measures the CGI of the unknown neighbor cell according to the measurement task, and acquires the signal quality information of the unknown neighbor cell; the UE reports the CGI measurement report to the eNodeB, wherein the CGI measurement report carries the signal quality information of the unknown neighbor cell. With the invention, the adoption of that the signal quality information of the cell is carried in the same time when the CGI measurement report of the unknown neighbor cell is reported can not only ensure the accuracy of the signal quality information of the neighbor cell under the Physical Cell Identity (PCI) confusion scene, but also avoid the extra interaction between the UE and the eNodeB, thereby reducing the air interface signaling expense.
