CONTROL DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

This control device for communicating with a display device via a first and second line and for controlling the display device is provided with: a communication unit which establishes communication by transmitting to the display device via the first line a clock signal for establishing synchronization with the display device and by transmitting to and receiving from the display device via the second line a data signal for controlling the display device; and a control unit which determines whether communication is established and, when the communication unit fails to establish communication, transmits to the communication unit the phase relation between the clock signal and the data signal after differing the phase relation between the clock signal and data signal transmitted once communication was failed to be established.
