<p>PURPOSE: A battery pack is provided to effectively detect liquid leaked from a battery module of a battery pack by using a pair of electrically conductive wire grids separated from a foam layer of an open cell, thereby capable of improving safety of a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(10) comprises battery modules(20-40) composed to accept liquid for cooling the battery modules, and a liquid leak detection system(60). The liquid leak detection system comprises electrically conductive wire grids, first and second sides, an open-cell foam layer comprising the electrically conductive wire grids respectively arranged in the first and a second sides, an insulating mat arranged between the electric conductive wire grids and tray, and a resistance measuring device(110) measuring a level of resistance between the electric conductive wire grids, and a microprocessor(120).
