<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device in which a seat part on which a user is seated is vertically elevatable. <P>SOLUTION: The walking assist device includes: a base part 1 to travel on a road surface; the seat part 10 which is attached to the base part 1 so as to be elevatable and on which the user is seated; a motor-driven cylinder 30 for elevating/lowering the seat part 10; and a link mechanism 20 for transmitting the output of the motor-driven cylinder 30 to the seat part 10. The link mechanism 20 includes: a first link 21 in which one end 21a is supported by the base part 1 and which is arranged to be turned toward the seat part 10 and is turned by the output of the motor-driven cylinder 30; a second link 22 in which one end 22a is connected to the other end 21b of the first link 21; a third link 23 in which one end 23a is connected to the other end 22b of the second link 22 and the other end 23b is connected to the seat part 10; a fourth link 24 in which one end 24a is supported by the base part 1 and the other end 24b turnably supports the third link 23; and a guide part 25 for guiding the seat part 10 so as to be vertically movable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
