<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion binder from which an aqueous pigment ink for inkjet can be prepared, the ink having excellent discharge stability, being capable of forming a printing film excellent in water resistance and adhesivity to a substrate, and being capable of being remelted and easily removed even if being dried at a discharge port (head). <P>SOLUTION: The emulsion binder contains an A-B block copolymer. The number-average molecular weight of the A-B block copolymer is 5,000 to 100,000, and the molecular weight distribution (weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight) is ≤1.7. The acid value of the A polymer block is 0 to 30 mg-KOH/g, and the glass transition temperature is ≤60°C. The acid value of the B polymer block is 75 to 250 mg-KOH/g. The A-B block copolymer is self-emulsified in an aqueous medium by being neutralized with an alkali substance, and emulsion particles of an average particle diameter of 30 to 300 nm are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
