<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing apparatus capable of feeding a needle in one direction using vibrations, miniaturizing the entire apparatus, and increasing the flexibility of design of a drive part. <P>SOLUTION: The suturing apparatus includes: a needle 4 for suture; a needle feed guide part 5 having a needle feed guide path 7 for guiding the movement of the needle 4; a piezoelectric element 8 for transmitting ultrasonic vibrations to the guide part 5; and a needle feed part 9 driven by the ultrasonic vibrations transmitted to the guide part 5 to feed the needle 4 inside the guide path 7 in one direction. The needle feed part 9 includes a projection part 10 to be in contact with the needle 4, and the projection part 10 comprises a member with directionality in friction force with the needle 4 generated by the ultrasonic vibrations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
