<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit unnecessary swing in a folded state, and to reduce the number of components for the inhibition and an assembling man-hour. <P>SOLUTION: A portable communication device has a first housing part (4), and a second housing part (6) coupled to the first housing part (4) by a hinge part. An operation panel (26) to which a key top (40) is arranged is provided to the first housing part. The operation panel is provided with swing inhibition parts (locking protrusions 44L and 44R) and supporting protrusions (56L and 56R). The swing inhibition parts are locked with the second housing part in a folded state to inhibit the swing of the second housing part.
