摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for bending a shape of a vacuum insulation panel in a process that starts from feeding of a preliminarily manufactured vacuum insulation panel. <P>SOLUTION: The method changes the shape of the vacuum insulation panel in the process that starts from the feeding of the preliminarily manufactured vacuum insulation panel 122. The method includes a porous core material surrounded with a seamlessly sealed air tight coating. The air tight coating is formed in a process where the pressure level inside the vacuum insulation panel is reduced lower than the surrounding atmosphere pressure by the sealed air tight coating (retention of vacuum by the vacuum insulation panel). At least one dent 126 is formed on an external side of the vacuum insulation panel and at a surface of the seamless porous core material without forming a hole in the sealed air tight coating (and without blocking off the vacuum state inside the vacuum insulation panel).
