<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device, an authentication method and a program for authentication, capable of performing highly accurate authentication processing by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: By an embodiment, the authentication device includes an input part, a user information storage part, a switch information generation part and an authentication part. The input part includes a plurality of switches which are arranged in a matrix shape and can be respectively lighted in one of a plurality of colors. The user information storage part stores authorized user identification information for which two or more pieces of color information are combined in a specified order for each authorized user. The switch information generation part generates switch information indicating correspondence of position information of the respective switches and lighting color information and makes the switches be lighted on the basis of it. When the switch is pressed, the authentication part determines the color information corresponding to the position information of the pressed switch, acquires the order of the determined color information further, and when the acquired order of the color information matches the authorized user identification information, authenticates a user who has performed the pressing operation as an authorized user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
